New book on concordance published
A new book on concordance in medicine-taking is now available from the Pharmaceutical Press (the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s publishing arm).
‘Concordance:
a partnership in medicine-taking’ gives an
overview of the concept of concordance as well as describing the implications
for practice and patient care. Edited by Christine Bond, professor of
primary care (pharmacy) at the School of Medicine, University of Aberdeen,
the book has been written by a multidisciplinary team. It is aimed at
health care professionals, academics and students.
The 208-page hardback book costs £34.95. Orders can be placed with
