Supply issues
Rythmodan and Tritace
Distriphar and Aventis say that the only available stock of Rythmodan
(disopyramide) Retard and Tritace (ramipril) Titration packs currently
available have a shelf life of less than six months. Stock of a longer
dated product is expected by mid-November. Until then customers are
requested to accept the short-dated stock. Details from customer

Hypurin insulin
CP Pharmaceuticals says that the following products are currently
out of stock; Hypurin Bovine Neutral 3ml cartridges, Hypurin Bovine
Neutral 10ml vials, Hypurin Bovine Isophane 3ml cartridges, Hypurin
Bovine Lente 10ml vials, Hypurin Porcine 30/70 Mix 3ml cartridges.
Full stock availability is expected between mid October and mid
November. The company says that residual stocks of the Hypurin
1.5ml cartridge range remain available following its discontinuation,
and that alternative presentations can be offered for each insulin,
except the Hypurin Bovine Lente 10ml vial. Emergency supplies can
