Pariet
The summary of product characteristics for Pariet (rabeprazole sodium) has been revised to include the following very rare (<1/10,000) adverse events reported from clinical trial and post-marketing experience: erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome (Eisai). Discontinued products

Delfen foam
Delfen Contraceptive Foam (12.5 percent w/w of nonoxinol-9) will be discontinued from 1 November (Janssen-Cilag).

Nubain injection
Nubain (nalbuphine hydrochloride) injection is being discontinued (Bristol-Myers Squibb). Stocks are expected to be available until the end of December. Contact customer services by fax on 01244 586251.

Zantac hospital pack
Zantac (ranitidine) tablets hospital pack 150 mg is being discontinued (GlaxoSmithKline). Further details are available from the Customer Contact Centre on 0800 221 441.
