CPPE relaunches e-learning

Pharmacists who need to update their knowledge can now use a redesigned e-learning portal to access online courses from the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education.

Users of the new portal can see on a single screen all the online courses that the CPPE provides, along with information on how long each course is expected to take and how completion is assessed. There are also course updates that summarise any significant changes since a course was first prepared.

Each course is structured in the same way to make for easier navigation through the website. Users can leave online bookmarks so that they can track their progress and highlight particular points for future reference. There is also a new search facility to find content in the training packages.

Angela Trikic, CPPE assistant director, said: “The standardised design will reduce the [time spent] learning how to use the courses. Familiarity gained will assist with work on subsequent programmes.”
