Dispensing fees to remain unchanged in England

Dispensing fees and other payments to community pharmacies in England are to remain unchanged in the current financial year.

At its November meeting, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee decided conditionally to accept an offer from the Department of Health that keeps Drug Tariff payments at their current levels. The condition is that contractors vote to accept the new contract financial proposals.

Ballot result The PSNC has said that it intends to announce the result of the ballot of contractors on the new contract at the end of November. Voting closes at noon on 22 November.
