Barcodes

What is the best position for a barcode?

From Mr N. Freedman, MRPharmS

Your report (PJ, 18/25 December 2004, p876) that the National Patient Safety Agency favours the use of barcodes for patient identification, was the focus of much discussion at a pre-Christmas dinner. The consensus was that it would best be tattooed across the foreheads of men and the upper lips of ladies. I am sure the NPSA would welcome further helpful suggestions.
