John Blenkinsopp
John Blenkinsopp, MRPharmS, MD, has been appointed senior research fellow
at the department of medicines management at Keele University. Dr Blenkinsopp
was based at the University of Bradford until September last year.
Bryony Dean Franklin
Bryony Dean Franklin, MRPharmS, principal pharmacist and director of
the academic pharmacy unit at Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust, has
been awarded the title of visiting professor at the University of London
School of Pharmacy.
Moss trust fund
Applications are invited for the Harold and Marjory Moss Charitable Trust
Fund. An undergraduate grant is available for students who may not
be able to start or complete their pharmacy course owing to financial
constraints. A “dispenser to pharmacist” grant may be awarded
to a dispenser who has a place to study pharmacy but is in financial
need. A PhD research award, which is not means tested, will also be
considered for students undertaking research that demonstrably benefits
