New dates for BPC 2006

The 2006 British Pharmaceutical Conference has been moved forward by three weeks.

BPC dates as far ahead as 2008 were booked with the Manchester International Convention Centre early in 2003, and the 2006 conference was to have taken place in the last week of September. But a decision by the Labour Party to hold its 2006 annual conference in Manchester from 24 to 29 September has forced the BPC to move. It will now be held from Monday 4 September to Wednesday 6 September 2006.

Gill Hawskworth, chairman of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Conference Committee, said: “Manchester is fast proving a successful and popular place to hold the BPC, so we are pleased that alternative dates have been found.”
