Pharmacist candidate for general election

Donald Wood, a locum pharmacist in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, is standing in the general election on 5 May as an independent candidate for the Barnsley Central constituency. Mr Wood was proprietor of three pharmacies in the Barnsley area, one of which he owned for 21 years. His main priorities are cutting bureaucracy in the health service, lowering council tax and reducing paperwork in education.
