New pension fund trustee structure

The Council has approved a new structure for the board of trustees of the Society’s staff pension fund.

At the April Council meeting it agreed that the board should have a maximum of eight members but should for the present consist of three pension scheme members, one senior staff member who is not a member of the scheme, one Council member and one former Council member with expertise in the pensions field.
