Co-op weight programme

Co-op pharmacies across the UK are offering a weight management service in conjunction with Roche, the Co-operative Group has announced. Pharmacists in selected Co-op pharmacies will record patients’ weight, body mass index and waist circumference, and provide diet and exercise advice. Depending on the needs of the local community, the service will be extended to include the supply of orlistat (Xenical) under patient group directions or supplementary prescribing.
