Pharmacy technicians

Newly qualified pharmacists need a bit of humility

From Mr M. Goldin, MRPharmS

Do I detect a hint of arrogance in Chijioke Agomo’s letter (PJ, 7 May, p542)?

What newly qualified pharmacists need is a bit of humility and the knowledge and intelligence to understand that over the next 40 to 50 years of practice they will acquire the experience and skills to treat fellow workers, whether pharmacist or technicians, with the understanding and respect that they deserve.

As a locum pharmacist, I have worked in many parts of the UK. The technicians I have worked with were good. They were intelligent, knowledgeable and most helpful to me and to the customers.
