Discontinued products

Avandamet
Avandamet (rosiglitazone/ metformin; GlaxoSmithKline) 1/500mg tablets are being discontinued. The company expects stock to be depleted by the end of May. All other Avandamet presentations remain available.

Colofac
Colofac 100 (mebeverine; Solvay) 15 tablet pack and Colofac liquid 300ml have been discontinued. All other preparations remain available.

Colomycin
Colomycin (colistin sulphate; Forest) sterile powder will be discontinued from August. Colomycin injection, tablets and syrup remain available.

Enflurane
Enflurane inhalation anaesthetic will be discontinued from 30 June (Abbott).

Femoston 2/20
Femoston 2/20 tablets (estradiol and estradiol plus dydrogesterone; Solvay) have been discontinued. Other Femoston and Femoston-conti tablets remain available.

Lignostab A
Lignostab A (lidocaine injection for dental use; Dentsply) has been discontinued.

APO-go (apomorphine hydrochloride; Britannia) 5mg/ml solution for infusion in pre-filled syringe has been renamed APO-go PFS 5mg/ml solution for infusion in pre-filled syringe.

Omacor
Omacor (omega-3-acid ethyl esters) capsules 1g are now additionally available in a 100 capsule pack. Net price, £49.60, legal category: P.

Polytar liquid
