Discontinued products
Klaricid
Klaricid starter packs (1 x clarithromycin modified release tablet 500mg
or 2 x sachets clarithromycin 125mg suspension; Abbott) will be discontinued
from 31 July.
Marcain
Marcain (bupivacaine hydrochloride; AstraZeneca) injection 0.25 per cent
with adrenaline 1 in 200,000 and Marcain injection 0.5 per cent with
adrenaline 1 in 200,000 have been discontinued. Marcain polyamps and
Marcain Heavy remain available. Further information available on 01582

Seroquel
Seroquel (quetiapine; AstraZeneca) four-day starter pack (6 x 25mg, 2
x 100mg, 2 x 150mg) is being discontinued from 31 July. It will continue
to be supplied until stocks are exhausted. Seroquel tablets 25mg, 100mg,
150mg, 200mg and 300mg will remain available. Further information available
