Amendment to MEP section on veterinary medicines

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is asking recipients of the new 29th edition of ‘Medicines, ethics and practice: a guide for pharmacists’ to make an amendment to the section concerned with medicines for veterinary use.

On p72, in Section 1.8.4, concerning prescription-only veterinary drugs, subparagraph (e) should be amended to read: “in the case of a repeatable prescription that does not specify the number of times it may be dispensed, shall not be dispensed on more than two occasions.”
