AAH starts training warehouse staff to spot counterfeits

Counterfeit medicines

Training materials are available to all BAPW members

AAH Pharmaceuticals has begun training its warehouse staff to spot fakes, it was announced last week. Training materials are being made available to all members of the British Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers.

Steve Dunn, group managing director of AAH Pharmaceuticals, said: “Most distributors, like ourselves, only buy from legitimate licensed manufacturers and wholesalers, but [counterfeit Lipitor] still got through. So it is vital that we increase our vigilance.”
