Society to host international conference on the management of pharmaceutical
quality
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to host a two-day international conference on “Managing pharmaceutical quality throughout the product life cycle” at its London headquarters on 21 and 22 November.
The conference is the first in a planned series of biennial meetings
hosted by the Society and organised in partnership with the International
Pharmaceutical Federation.
John Clements, science adviser to the Society, says: “Quality management
concepts influence daily practice whether you work in the pharmaceutical
industry or within a regulatory environment. This conference will be
of interest to those working in all areas of pharmaceutical manufacture
and production, research and development, quality assurance and control
and in regulatory affairs or authorities.”
There will be a poster session on both days of the conference. Abstracts
are invited on any subjects related to quality management. Full conference
details and a booking form can be downloaded from the science
section of the Society’s website or can be requested
from Judy Callanan (tel 020 7572 2261; fax 020 7572 2506; e-mail science@rpsgb.org).
