Letters to the Editor

Birdsgrove House

Thank you

From Mr K. H. Grace-Dutton, MRPharmS

Thank you for the two articles on Birdsgrove House (PJ, 20 August, p220 and p237). We are sad to see the demise of this ground pharmaceutical institution. It has served us well and our appreciation must be recorded to all the staff for services so graciously rendered.

Some remain perplexed at the delay and lack of information until now. We were approached “to book”, only for the booking to be cancelled at short notice in August 2004.

We would hope that the Royal Pharmaceutical Society will expedite Birdsgrove business much more openly and efficiently in the future and that to the greater benefit of our members and the profession.

Thank you Birdsgrove staff once again for your kindness and a job well done — we wish you every happiness in your, hopefully, supported retirement.

Ken Grace-Dutton
Long Buckby, Northants
