Clinical trials portal launched

The first internet search engine that can link to online information about clinical trials worldwide was launched last week.

The portal has been developed by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations and will locate trial data on pharmaceutical, commercial and government-sponsored websites around the world. The portal can be found at www.ifpma.org/clinicaltrials. It allows patients and health care professionals to search for two types of information: ongoing clinical trials and clinical trials results.
