Proud to represent my profession

My thanks to Sheila Weston (PJ, 1 October, p408 PDF (160K)) for her kind words regarding my appearance on City Hospital.

I have been told that many people found the short segment useful and I was proud to represent my department, hospital and profession in such a way. I am certain there is a great potential for pharmacists to demonstrate their roles as health care professionals using this type of programme.

Perhaps the public relations department of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society should strike while the iron is hot and suggest to the producers of City Hospital that they include a regular two-minute slot for pharmacists to offer advice on similar topics.
