New pharmacy leaflet and poster launched at careers convention
A leaflet and poster designed to draw attention to careers in pharmacy has been launched by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society at a major careers convention.
The launch took place on 11 October at the North Kent Careers Convention
2005, organised by the North West Kent Business Education Partnership.
Believed to be the largest event of its kind outside London, the convention
attracted more than 2,500 students from local secondary schools. Careers
staff from the Society welcomed a steady stream of teenage visitors and
careers teachers to the Society’s stand.
The President of the Society, Hemant Patel, said: “The launch of
our new careers materials, combined with our attendance at this important
careers convention, shows that the Society is serious about attracting
young people to careers in pharmacy.”
