5mg Crestor dose for Asians

Asian patients and patients with predisposing factors for myopathy should start rosuvastatin (Crestor) treatment on a 5mg dose, AstraZeneca announced last week. AstraZeneca has launched 5mg tablets to enable this dose to be taken (see Notice-board p603).
