In its latest co-operation with local museums across London, the museum of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society ran a family fun day on Saturday 29 October as part of Islington Museum's exhibition, “From leeches to the NHS”.

Visitors had the opportunity to try their hand at pill rolling and to handle poison bottles, a cachet machine and powder folders.

The day also included the opportunity to dress up in Victorian and modern nurses’ and surgeons’ outfits and to get close to live leeches.
