Society's London library is to take part in Health Libraries Week
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to take part in Health Libraries Week from 14 to 18 November.
The Society’s London library will offer a series of events to raise
its profile among members and other health professionals and with other
libraries that help support the work of health care professionals.
Throughout the week members of the Society will be able to visit the
library and find out more about the wide range of information sources
on offer. Society staff will be on hand to help with any questions and
visitors can also purchase Pharmaceutical Press publications at a 10
per cent discount during the week.
On 16 November the library will open its doors to non-members and on
18 November it will hold an afternoon session for health librarians from
around the UK.
The library will be open from 9am to 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Friday and from 10am to 5.45pm on Thursday. Further information is
available from the library (tel 020 7572 2300).
Health Libraries Week is co-ordinated by the National Library for Health.
Support for the Society’s events comes from the NLH via the Consortium
of Independent Health Information Libraries in London.
