Black On 3 December, Eric Raymond Black, MRPharmS, of Flat 1, 37 Winchester
Street, Pimlico, London SW1V 4NZ. Mr Black registered in 1956.
Myers On 29 November, Donald Harvey Myers, MRPharmS, of 9 Romway Close, Shepshed,
Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 9DT, aged 71. Mr Myers registered in 1956 after
an apprenticeship with Boots The Chemists. On completing two years’ National
Service in the Royal Army Medical Corps he rejoined Boots as a full-time pharmacist
in 1958. He was appointed manager of a branch in Brighouse, Yorkshire, in 1961
and was promoted to a larger store in Ilkley in 1964. Further promotions took
him to Bury, Northwich, Northampton and, in 1977, Loughborough. He retired from
Boots in 1991. A keen amateur radio enthusiast, he had the distinction of having
spoken to astronauts on board a space shuttle. He leaves his widow June, son
Paul, daughter-in-law Sharon and grandchildren Richard, Rebecca and Thomas.
Stuckey On 17 August, Yvonne Norma Stuckey, MRPharmS, of 27 Regis Court, West
Parade, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 3RA. Mrs Stuckey registered in 1938.
