Lancashire school plan

A new school of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences is planned at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. The university aims to take 60 students on its MPharm programme in September 2007, subject to accreditation by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Antony D’Emanuele, previously at the University of Manchester school of pharmacy, has been appointed as head of school.
