Survey reveals pharmacists least happy workers in UK

Pharmacists are the least happy workers in the UK, a survey suggests.

The City & Guilds questioned 1,301 employees from professional and vocational occupations and pharmacists came 28th out of the 28 occupations included.

However, 78 per cent of pharmacists said they were happy with their jobs because they are made to feel appreciated and 80 per cent because they meet many new people through work. As a whole, pharmacists rated their happiness as 7.29 out of 10. When asked the question “Do you feel that you have a good work/life balance?” pharmacists came in 13th, whereas doctors and nurses were 23rd.
