Enhanced services pricing toolkit published

A toolkit to help to price enhanced services has been published by the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee in association with NHS Employers.

The toolkit, for use by local pharmaceutical committees, has a checklist for individual costs that should be considered when an enhanced service is being negotiated with a primary care trust.

For each of the 14 enhanced services, the toolkit details specific points to be aware of when pricing the service. It also lists factors to consider under three headings: set up and annual costs, service delivery costs, and administration and review costs.
