New guidance on counterfeit medicines

New guidance on counterfeit medicines has been produced for pharmacists jointly by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (PDF 50K).

The guidance explains the causes and consequences of counterfeiting and gives practical advice on detecting and reporting suspected counterfeit medicines.

The guidance appears in this issue of The Journal (p627) and will also be available on the websites of the Society (www.rpsgb.org) and the MHRA (www.mhra.gov.uk).
