New minister responsible for pharmacy will address BPC

The new minister responsible for pharmacy affairs, Andy Burnham, will address the British Pharmaceutical Conference on 4 September 2006.

Mr Burnham, who was appointed minister of state for delivery and quality in May, will speak on the first afternoon of the conference, followed by the President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Hemant Patel.

BPC 2006 will be held at the Manchester International Convention Centre from 4 to 6 September.
