BRM calls on the Society to make better use of the skills and experience of its fellows

A motion calling on the Society to make better use of the skills and experience of its fellows was carried at the branch representatives' meeting without opposition.

Julienne Johnson (Glasgow and West of Scotland) said that most fellows are appointed for excellence but are then not used in any way. This is an opportunity missed. There should be some structured way of using their skills and experiences. The branch would support the idea of consulting them on a wider and more specific role in the professional and regulatory roles of the Society.
