Guidance on how to obtain accurate blood pressure measurements has been produced by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

A poster of “top ten tips” has been developed in response to problems experienced by users of blood pressure monitors and sphygmomanometers. All users of this equipment should familiarise themselves with the advice contained within the poster, says the MHRA.
