Visitor from Kenya

A pharmacist from Kenya's pharmaceutical regulatory authority has spent the past two weeks in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's information centre investigating ways in which he can develop information resources for pharmacists in Kenya.

Steve Kimatu is medicines information pharmacist in Kenya’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board, which regulates the practice of pharmacy as well as drugs and poisons. On his fact-finding mission he has been examining the range of medicines information resources available to pharmacists in Britain through the information centre. He has also studied the information centre’s procedures for handling enquiries.
