Clawback drop negotiated after zero discount changes

The average discount clawback for pharmacy contractors in England and Wales will be reduced by 0.9 percentage points, to 10.0 per cent, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee has announced.

This change is designed to take account of amendments made to the zero discount arrangements announced earlier this month (PJ, 12 August, p183). A copy of the new discount deduction scale is available from the PSNC website and will also appear in the September Drug Tariff.
