Diabetes research network

Diabetes research is to be bolstered in Scotland, it was announced earlier this week.

The Scottish Diabetes Research Network has been set up as part of the UK Clinical Research Collaboration. Its aims are to establish an integrated clinical trials infrastructure between academic institutions and clinical networks and to increase recruitment to clinical trials throughout Scotland.
