Resignations prompt National Pharmacy Association election

Elections are soon to be held to fill seats on the National Pharmacy Association's board that have become vacant because Steven Williams (area 15) and Martin Bennett (area 2) have resigned.

All full members of the NPA are eligible to stand for election, regardless of where they live. Nominations close on 25 September. Voting papers — to be issued on 3 October — have to be returned by 19 October.

In a statement, the NPA said: “Membership of the NPA board of management represents a real opportunity to participate in the formulation of NPA policy and to direct change in community pharmacy business and practice to the ultimate benefit of NPA members.”
