Tribute

Fox In a tribute to the late Anthony Kenneth Fox, MARSHALL DAVIES writes:

I was saddened to learn of the death of my friend and former colleague Tony Fox. Tony had an impressive career with Boots. From his first management at Bargoed in 1965 he progressed speedily upwards, being appointed a territorial general manager in 1975. His subsequent career was mainly in general management roles in the London area and East Anglia. He maintained a significant interest and involvement in pharmacy, becoming a widely respected pharmacy superintendent when directing the company’s professional activities in the 1980s. Before retirement he was an area manager of large stores.

Tony combined a keen business acumen with a warm personality. His sense of humour, generous comments and thoughtful advice made his company both enjoyable and rewarding. He was a quiet compassionate person of high integrity with a keen sense of duty.

Tony will be missed by all who knew him, and our thoughts and sympathy go to his devoted wife Liz and their family.
