Supply issues
Doxepin capsules
Pfizer announced earlier this year its intention to discontinue manufacturing
and supplying doxepin capsules, which it markets as Sinequan (PJ,
6 May, p529). Marlborough Pharmaceuticals will be taking over the
manufacture and supply from Pfizer. Pfizer is currently out of stock
of capsules 50mg. It is limiting supplies of capsules 10mg, 25mg
and 75mg, but there is a possibility that supply of the remaining
formulations may be disrupted for a short period. Further information

Navispare tablets
Goldshield has announced that Navispare (amiloride hydrochloride/cyclopenthiazide)
tablets are now available again following a supply problem. Customer

Phenoxybenzamine injection
Goldshield has announced that its phenoxybenzamine injection will
be unavailable until January 2007. However, Dibenyline (phenoxybenzamine)

Welldorm tablets
Alphashow has announced that supply issues with Welldorm (cloral
betaine) tablets have now been resolved. Further information on
