Second book of multiple choice questions in pharmacy practice

Further MCQs in Pharmacy PracticeA second book of multiple choice questions in pharmacy practice is now available from the the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's publishing division, the Pharmaceutical Press.

Further MCQs in pharmacy practice’ is a revision aid covering a range of topics commonly featured in pharmacy undergraduate, registration and licensing multiple choice examinations.

Among the topics included are general interventions in pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical care, simple pharmaceutical calculations, doses and strengths, nomenclature and abbreviations, dosage forms, specialties, trade and generic names, biochemical tests, classification, side effects and common diseases.

The book is a companion volume to ‘MCQs in pharmacy practice’, published two years ago. Like its predecessor, it contains 600 practice-oriented questions and includes both open- and closed-book sections. Answers with brief explanations are given at the end of each test.

Both books are edited by Lilian Azzopardi, a senior lecturer in the department of pharmacy at the University of Malta. Both are 368-page paperbacks, priced at £19.95.
