Law and Ethics Bulletins to be added to Society website
The Law and Ethics Bulletins issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's legal and ethical advisory service are to be published on the Society's website as well as on the Society pages of The
Pharmaceutical Journal.
The advisory service issues Law and Ethics Bulletins to highlight current
problems and inquiries relating to the Codes of Ethics and the Society's
interpretation of medicines legislation.
The first bulletin to be added to the website concerns the need for pharmacists
to ensure that all pharmacy staff, including locums, are made aware of
any errors they have committed so that they can take steps to prevent
any repetition by examining their working practices and, if necessary,
seeking further training (see p408).
Members will be able to access the bulletins from the legal
and ethical advisory service page within the “Information resources” section
of the Society’s website. Seventy-five bulletins
published in The Journal since the beginning of 2001 are available
on PJ Online and can be accessed from an indexed law
and ethics page.
