Collection of 2007 pharmacy technician fees begins

The collection of pharmacy technicians' retention fees for 2007 is due to begin on 1 October, according to the registration page of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's website.

The technicians’ practising fee for 2007 is £93 — up 5.7 per cent from this year’s £88 — and the non-practising fee rises 6.0 per cent from £67 to £71. Those on the practising register are being recommended to pay their fees online.

The 2007 retention fee form is now being posted to registered pharmacy technicians, the website says. Registered technicians have until 31 December to pay their fees. If payment is not made by that date, they will be removed from the register.
