Number of registered technicians reaches 4,000
The number of names on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's voluntary Register of Pharmacy Technicians has reached 4,000.
The Society’s head of support staff regulation, Janet Flint, says: “Joining
the register before it becomes compulsory is the conscientious thing
to do and it helps the whole profession of pharmacy move forward at a
critical time in its development.”
Pharmacy technicians interested in registration can contact the Support
Staff Section, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London
SE1 7JN (tel 020 7572 2610; e-mail pharmacytechnician@rpsgb.org). Registration
application packs can be obtained from the same source or from the Society’s
website.
