Domiciliary visits exposed under smoking ban plans

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has expressed disappointment over Government plans for smoke-free premises because they fail to offer guidance relating to the homes of patients who are visited by carers.

The Government’s proposals for a smoking ban in England, due to come into effect next year, suggest that “the householder and the person providing services would come to their own agreement about smoking”.

The Society’s response to the proposals is available as a PDF file (20K).
