Poisons past and present on display in Society's library

Poisons past and present are the subject of a new display set up in the library at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's London headquarters.

Entitled “Pick your poison”, the display describes legislation on poisons, poisons in fiction and some library resources on aspects of toxicology.

The display, which also includes some poison bottles, is part of a collaboration between the library and the museum to showcase items from their collections.

The library is open from 10am to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 10am to 7pm on Thursdays.

The display will remain at least until Christmas.
