Hall refurbishment completed

The refurbishment of the assembly hall at the London headquarters of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has been completed on time and on budget.

Building work that started in December 2005 has turned the old assembly hall into a conference suite with a glass roof allowing natural light into the main conference area. The new suite has a capacity of 230 with one large room that can be split into two or four small syndicate rooms. The suite also allows video conferencing in all meeting rooms, has front and rear projection facilities and has an induction loop system for people with hearing difficulties.
