The Council

Disrespect

From Mr A. F. Huntley, MRPharmS

Brian Curwain, member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Council and otherwise busy person, spoke to branch members recently on “the Society and current issues”. Our branch secretary notified all branch members about this and two issues of The Journal did likewise.

I was, and am, mortified that the attendance numbered some 20 members whereas usually some 50 or more are present. To me, this appears to be the apogee of lese-majesty — respecting or disrespecting both the members of Council and the Society itself.

A. F. Huntley
