Pocket version of Stockley now available

Stockley's drug interactions pocket companion 2007A pocket edition of ‘Stockley’s drug interactions’ is now available from the Pharmaceutical Press (part of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s publishing division).

Stockley’s drug interactions pocket companion 2007’, edited by Karen Baxter, is designed to provide pharmacists and other health care professionals with a conveniently sized, quick-reference Stockley text. It draws on the clinically evaluated, evidence-based information on drug–drug, drug–herb and drug–food interactions that is found in the full reference work, ‘Stockley’s drug interactions’ and follows the format of the existing Stockley products.

The 1,250-plus monographs pertaining to specific drugs or drug groups cover all the main interactions found in the full book while remaining small enough to fit in a pocket. The monographs are arranged alphabetically and cross-referenced to allow easy searching. Easy-to-use severity rating symbols offer guidance on the clinical significance of an interaction.

The PVC-bound book has 544 pages of 180mm x 100mm and costs £21.95. UK orders can be placed by telephone (01767 604 971), fax (01767 601 640) or e-mail (rps@turpin-distribution.com) or through the Pharmaceutical Press website
