Welsh smoking ban progress

Final draft Regulations to enable enforcement of the smoking ban in enclosed public spaces in Wales were published last week and will now be scrutinised by the Welsh Assembly Government’s Health and Social Services Committee. A consultation report is available.

The ban is expected to be introduced in Wales on 2 April 2007.
