Charges to be introduced for hard copies of Society's continuing professional development materials

Charges are to be introduced for continuing professional development materials supplied as hard copy to members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

At its meeting on 22 November, the Council’s Education Committee heard that the Society’s current practice has been to supply unlimited amounts of hard copy CPD material on request with no charge to members. This has been a costly exercise, especially when members request multiple copies. The committee noted that all CPD materials can be accessed free from the CPD page on the Society’s website and agreed that in future members should be charged for replacement hard copies unless they provide good reason why they should not be.
