Databases launched by NICE
Two online databases to support implementation of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence guidance were launched at the institute's annual conference held in Birmingham last week.
One contains examples of local
implementation projects and the second
provides a bank of guidance-specific
implementation uptake reports by
NICE with references to external studies on how guidance is being implemented.
A third online database
of NICE research recommendations was also launched
at the conference.
NICE wants NHS organisations to submit examples of how they have successfully
overcome any problems associated with implementing its guidance. Submissions
judged to be valuable will be included on the shared learning database
for two years. |
